Our Rotary Club relies on many ‘Friends of Rotary’ who generously volunteer their time and efforts to help out with a range of Rotary fundraising activities.
Such volunteer work includes helping out at our regular community Pancake Breakfasts (working the grills to prepare the food, serving breakfasts to customers), assisting with different fundraising events such as our Silent Auctions and annual Oktoberfest, and supporting the Rotary Santa Claus Parade (serving as Santa’s ‘elves’ during and after the Parade, helping with distributing ‘treat bags’ to children back at Rotary Hall at the end of the Parade).
Local high school students volunteering as ‘Friends of Rotary’ can have their volunteer time counted as part of their ‘community service’ requirements towards high school graduation.
