On Tuesday, August 4th, Rotarians hosted a BBQ Bon Voyage party for Rotary Exchange Student Ellie Robbins who is heading to Belgium for the coming year! In addition to Rotarians and spouses/partners, Ellie’s family and friends attended the event where Ellie received a Rotary jacket, Rotary pins and other gifts to mark the occasion. Ellie is a recent graduate of Bruce Peninsula District High School and after her year in Belgium will return to Canada to pursue post-secondary studies at University of Toronto. Ellie also received the Mary Cameron Award for ‘Most Improved Student’ at graduation this past June! Congratulations and Bon Voyage, Ellie!
