On Tuesday, July 21st at Rotary Hall, our Club expressed thanks and appreciation to Rotarian Catherine Henderson, presenting her with three Paul Harris Fellow awards (PHF+2) for her outstanding contributions to our Club and the community of Northern Bruce Peninsula!  Cat joined Rotary in July 2019, and has served on our Club executive six of the past seven years, with multiple terms as Club President and Club Treasurer.  She recently completed a long term as our Club President and has now, once again, returned to the role of Club Treasurer for the 2026-27 Rotary year.  Incoming Club President Sue Kolundzic and Past-President Cathryn Buckley presented the awards to Cat, with President Kolundzic noting Cat’s significant accomplishments during her term as Club President, including coordinating our Club’s 70th anniversary celebrations in 2024, overseeing the introduction of new Club events and activities such as our annual Oktoberfest, Chili Cook-off fundraiser for BPDS, contributing to the success of our Coffee Socials, and many other ventures and projects.  As noted by President Kolundzic, ‘Cat demonstrated the Rotary motto ‘Service Above Self’ with her passionate dedication to community’, concluding that ‘… a good leader inspires people to have confidence in the leader but a great leader inspires people to have confidence in themselves.  And you’ve certainly done that for us!’  Thank you Cat for your many contributions to our Club and Northern Bruce Peninsula!
